Male Base Body - Featuring Diluc
Added 2023-04-23 17:46:15 +0000 UTCAfter talking about the male mods, I remembered I had made a Diluc back in the day - before I started Genshin modding, while I was going through my lewd Genshin animations (but really just Jean) phase. I had intended him to be a prop for a Jean sex animation, but it never got that far, so it just sat collecting proverbial dust.
Anyway, it wasn't in great shape... I dusted it off and had a go at sculpting it. Didn't go well. Nearly gave up on it. But luckily another member of the AGMG community had made a base male body for their own purpose, and were willing to offer it up. I accepted the offer - had a look... and it wasn't up to my standards - but it did have a great skin texture that they derived from Al Haitham's see through shirt.
Using that body and texture as reference, I had another go with this body, and reproportioned it... and it finally started to click in place and look decent!
Then I got to texturing it, and it really started to shine! The cool thing with Genshin texturing is that you can get it to do a lot of the heavy lifting with suggesting contours. The combination of diffuse and lightmap has an effect sort of like a normal map has on other games!
After a few hours, got the body to a state I'm really happy with - probably my best Genshin body to date TBH! Or at least the texture work on it is.
At the very least, I'll have Diluc and Zhong Li matching the girls on my party screen ^^;

I know most of my users here are here for the mods I've already made - which of course sets an expectation of what I will make. But not every mod I've made can be used by every user (given that most people will not have every characters, or the same combination of characters that I have access to and can mod). So in that view, 40+% interest in male mods isn't too bad at all! Plus male mods can help to draw in people that haven't been interested in signing up to date. As for whether or not you sponsor me - you're of course free to leave at any time if you feel like you're not getting value from this patreon - but given that I update every day with a wide variety of high quality mods, and still plan on doing the vast majority of my mods as female characters, I think you'd be hard pressed to find better value for Genshin modding patreons - even if some of them aren't the ones you'd use!

Similarly, most genshin characters are stylistically very skinny with lanky necks and limbs. ... You get used to looking at them :P With the base bod, I have the freedom to make a wide variety of male character mods. For myself... I'll just be making some nice suits and open shirts with some jewelry and sunglasses. Looking stylish and bad ass y'know? If it proves popular, then more can come.

2023-04-23 18:30:22 +0000 UTCi don't know if it's just me but his head looks a little bit too small for the body and also his neck looks kind of long too in my opinion And this type of male mods are not my cup of tea (i would prefer cool looking male mods rather than NSFW/nude male mods) but hey for those who were looking for this type of Male mods there you go im happy for you ;) Keep doing the great work Lad ;)
