First day of work on my future game, Firera's Adventure!
The works are being made using the upgraded backbones of GiantessRun, and right now, no graphics are set there, except for the previous player graphics.
The game now runs at 1080p instead of 720p (lots of camera/physics changes made here!)
Codebase upgraded up to Godot v4.3 (the the original GiantessRun was created on v3.2, last tested on v3.6) - over half of all code changed/updated
The player can double jump and climb stairs; working on walljumps and moving platforms
Everything is still crude at this point, bugs and such, but as I said, it's the first day. Damn, that title screen. XD
I'm gonna keep you guys updated with every code change, and pretty soon we'll have a workable start menu, UI and first beta level. Sadly I cant publish videos, but I can upload 'em in the attachment.
My goal is to have a playable first level until October 31th, so I'll keep you guys updated in the changes! =D
