So, I actually really like the 2018 one way more than the newer one. It just pops more. The 2020 looks so... flat? I'm no artist, but that '18 drawing sure makes my eyes happier than '20.

Yeah, that first Bulma was actually my first digital art that got retweeted on #cutiestaturday. So it without a doubt an old old old cornerstone. Like everything since day one I’ve always learned by looking and comparing. So around this time, I was trying to color things more vibrantly. I also was trying to get into the groove of drawing more gracefully and work on more stable yet squishy looking anatomy, specifically so I could get the boobs right. But from there, I wanted to do everything I hadn’t felt like I was doing that great back then, which was shading, lighting, dynamic/lively poses, color theory, and incredibly clean lines. Basically everything I was doing, I wanted to level up, because seeing all this other godlike art from japan and Korea was lighting a huge fire under my ass. And that eventually lead me to trying to narrow my focus in a few ways. If I noticed an artist was really good at poses/designs/lines/color , I would try to adapt it into my own arsenal. So I think back then, I was focusing on good overall design, then it was color and composition, then it was lines and color palettes mixed with more graceful anatomy, now it’s kind of a dynamics/atmospheric thing I’m showing off. At this point, I’m just combining and greatly exaggerating the things I’ve learned to get as close to my peers and higher ups as possible so I can surpass that point. I can say for sure that right now, I am the ideal skill level I wanted back in fall of 2018. I’m in a stage where high renders are what I want to go for and be comfortable with so the smaller stuff is easy.

Wow, this is such an improvement in a short period of time! Would you ever be willing to talk about things you've done and how/what you studied in order to make these improvements on your art journey? Hearing stuff like that from you would def be helpful.
