Life drawings from photoreference: high-res scans #2
Added 2019-04-29 14:47:26 +0000 UTCFresh and piping-hot off the scanner, here's today's morning set of life drawings from photoreference! And below is attached a 25-meg Photoshop PSD featuring the 660dpi raw grayscale scan of the pencils, for those who wanna see the original piece. (I tweaked the graphite a fair bit with a Levels adjustment to produce the higher-contrast, cropped jpeg above.)
Note that my crappy, oft-flaking DSL does not care much for uploading such large files. Perils of living out in the boonies, folks; sometimes you just don't have much of a choice in terms of internet access.

Give it a try! I strongly recommend life drawing practice, whether from photos or live models; just wish I hadn't taken 28 or so years off from the habit! (Seriously, until I took it up again in 2016, I hadn't done much life drawing since getting out of art school.)
