In fact, what's shown above is my "working jpeg" for reference purposes; below, I'll pop in a screencap from a PDF of what the final image might look like. ("Might look like" because grayscale reproduction can vary considerably in the actual printing.)
A big issue with this volume has been to get the Sharpie-markered areas to go solid black without shifting the pencils too intensely dark in the process. This usually requires selecting areas like the panel gutters, lettering, Ninjette's hat and shirt, and the silhouettes at the bottom of the page separately from the pencils and adjusting them on their own. That's something which my crappy ol' mouse does not lend itself well to carrying out, hence my flawed jpeg at the top; luckily, the highly skilled and laudably patient Chris Horn in Dark Horse Production has access to better tools. Whew!
