A new oc that I plan on using in the future in De Novo- Alasdair. He’s an old vampire with a seeeerious attitude promblem. To start with, he‘s over 1000 years old. He’s seen it all, and somewhere around there, he succumbed to nihilism. Nothing mattered, so he acted like it,. Vampires normally do not like to be public. They are very reserved and secretive, electing not to appear before humans rarely if at all. They isolate themselves because they are VERY few, but they are also incredibly powerful and VERY hard to kill.

Alasdair is a vampire that does not care. He drinks however much blood he wants, from anyone and anywhere, and is very reckless and thoughtless in regards to human life. He likes to seduce people into becoming his personal And willing wine bottles (LOL) because it’s more fun than taking their blood by force. He has lots of people that sacrifice themselves for him (cos he’s hot obviously lol) and sometimes he reigns terror on human villages cos he can.

Funnily enough, all this is an almost desperate attempt to distract himself from the fact that he will spend eternity alone. That his life is meaningless. That because he cannot die, he cannot live. That time has no meaning to him. That deep down he wants meaning in his life but doesn’t even know where to begin with getting it.
But yeah he drowns this with human blood and luxuries. Ah, he can also walk under the sun but he becomes quite nauseous after a while and he burst VERY easily. He really can’t go out without a LOT of protection.
