June's art request dealie, open to all Patrons!
Added 2019-06-13 02:19:01 +0000 UTCAs I'm heading off to Heroes Con in Charlotte tomorrow and will thus have more time for non-Empowered drawing over the weekend, I figured I'd open up June's art request dealie a little early.
As with previous installments of this monthly feature, any of you fine Patrons are welcome to suggest your ideas for a subject or character to tackle for a Patreon-exclusive piece of artwork. (Well, at least initially Patreon-exclusive, as I might someday post the theoretical illo elsewhere, down the road.) I had about 11 or 12 suggestions last month; might revisit those, if necessary.
So, in the comment section below, feel free to make a suggestion for a character or subject you'd like to see me address in a piece of artwork. (Hell, for that matter you could pick properties I've already worked on, such as Empowered, Dirty Pair, Gen 13, Titans: Scissors, Paper, Stone, etc.) I'll pick out one request at a whim, and get to working on it sometime before the end of the month, or likely over this weekend. Might wind up being another two-color con sketch, or a digital illo, or a roughed-out comic page, or an Empowered-format one-pager, or something entirely different.
May's request dealie wound up being a Procreate sketch set of Velma from Scooby Doo, in case you're wondering. The set is also visible as a 30-second time-lapse video on Instagram, as I can't seem to post a video directly here without a dang URL.

2019-06-15 12:45:54 +0000 UTCI feel like you must have drawn Overwatch's D.Va (or Emp in D.Va's definitely-not-a-plugsuit-no-siree pilot suit) at some point? I sort of vaguely recall that I may have seen such a thing, but going back through a year or so's media tweets and DA posts didn't turn it up. It could be I was not persistent enough. If D.Va or Emp cosplaying D.Va has happened, D.Va cosplaying Emp is also a good take.
