A Difference in Height

Ok so. Y’all know what I’m about. Height differences are what keep me living in these trying times. And also in the good times. Tldr; I ALWAYS thrive when there are height difference I’m sorry. (I’m not actually sorry)

This was genuinely meant to be a sketch just so I can see what the height difference I wanted between Sira and Sora was. It was genuinely supposed to be basic as hell. But I do not think we can be basic when Siradiou is in the picture lmao. We always have to go hard when he’s here. Also his thigh-high boots tho. There’s just something about them freakin’ boots.... a little je ne sais quoi, yk?

Anyway, after Sora met him at the tiny wine cellar, she was SHOOK. Because he was so enigmatic and mysterious in the book, she really didn’t think that she’d get such early access to him, and so easily too! But she was also a bit nervous around him because in the book, Assorra the Villainess and Siradiou the Vampire did NOT get along!!! Because of her incredible pride and stubbornness, she was one of the people that were somehow capable of irritating the chillest vampire in history. Because of that, he tended to be hostile, especially when the FL was involved. He was also the only one in the group who had no qualms with killing her and getting rid of her troublesome self from the very beginning because he said that Assorra was someone that would be “troublesome” from the moment he met her (and to be fair he was not wrong). And he did try lots of times, stopped only by the saint-like FL 🤣

The second time they meet, it was when she was forced to go see Segun. As I said before, she works unusually hard to avoid him and his summons, but she can’t always evade it. Otherwise her family will incur repercussions. So she met Siradiou when she was heading back after a very brief tea time. (Sora’s plan is to show as little interest towards her fiancé as possible so that when the FL comes, Segun won’t feel like he needs to take extreme measures get rid of his fiancée to be with the FL. The extreme measure being freaking sending assassins her way or something wild like that). She met Siradiou as she was walking down the hallway, and it was the biggest shock she had had in a minute! He knows her as the peculiar wine lady because she had expressed a deep interest in wine when he first met her, and was mildly shocked to discover that she was the famed fiancée of the crown prince. Although according to him, “the rumors were a bit far-fetched.”

Well, either way he made it very clear that he was going to be looking forward to seeing her again so she could tell him how she liked the wines he’d recommended from his little winery. This was the point that she knew that the plot was losing the... well, losing the plot. In the book, he appeared later on, and only officially visited the palace after forming a bond with the FL and decided to actively take part in human society because she was “interesting”. Assorra could not for the life of her figure out why this was happening tho. Why everything was suddenly changing. She could not fathom AT ALL (lol) why the vampire was visiting the palace so brazenly in the middle of the day before the FL even appeared, why Segun was working so damn hard to invest in an engagement they both didn’t want, or why her little brother was suddenly acting like a little duckling, wanting to follow her everywhere with an adorable enthusiasm.
