Flowers For Ayana: The FL’s Debut

I can’t believe I’ve drawn every other character except the FL up until this point lmaooooo. Well, I finally did so that’s good. This is Ayana, the FL of the novel Sora had read. Ayana is a bright, beautiful and kind lady who enjoys flowers and making friends. Her happy, carefree disposition and tendency to accept everyone as they are was so refreshing and wonderful was what really won over the other characters, and made them feel that they wanted to protect her happiness from the murky dealings of the royal court.

Now, what TRULY cemented these characters’ love for Ayana was the woman they deemed as the very personification of the moral corruptness of nobility. None other than Assorra. At first, Assorra was not particularly bothered by Ayana’s new presence at court. She knew that it would take a lot to upset her very solid foundation as the queen of society. But when she started to observe an abnormal amount of rising favor for Ayana, Assorra was moved to action.

It started with attacks on her character, ranging from questions pertaining to Ayana’s true background (a lost child of a noble house) to her true character (a manipulating, scheming woman who was simply lusting after noble men). This last one was one that kind of gathered most of the noble women against Ayana and brought them all together under Assorra because it is true that noble men seemed to be overly infatuated with her. It kinda didn’t help her case when men of high regard such as Sahel, Asare, even the crown prince himself Segun and most surprisingly enough, the ever-elusive vampire Siradiou seemed to gravitate towards her.

Yeah so its through this that the already sore relationships between Assorra and the other characters deteriorated even further. When she came to realize that her fiancé, the only thing that she had to lose, was obviously falling for Ayana, that’s when she made up her mind. Therein began the actual dangerous harassment that would lead to Ayana getting quite seriously injured. The other characters KNEW that it was Assorra that had done it. They KNEW it and they so badly wanted to make her pay, but Assorra isn’t a sloppy bitch. She a bad one, and left absolutely no evidence for them to attempt to implicate her with. Through all this, Ayana would remain smiling as brightly as she could, even though everyone knew that she was terrified and genuinely feeling anxious and depressed. At that time, one of Assorra’s “friend” felt very nasty being involved and confessed to the Crown Prince and presenting a shred of evidence. This was not enough to implicate Assorra, but it was enough to begin damaging her reputation and turning public opinion against her.

Things just kinda started going downhill from there. Her parents began to oppose her actions bc it was causing harm to their reputation, and Asare corroborated this. She began to lose allies when people saw that she was antagonizing the crown prince, who was surrounded by very powerful and capable people. The queen (Segun’s ma) was beginning to show favor to Ayana very openly and remaining neutral with Assorra. It was bad news bears fr. And everything came to a head when, during a celebration ball, Segun announced that he would be annulling his engagement to Assorra and engaging Ayana. And that was it for her. She refused to be dishonored like that and decided to burn everything to the ground instead, and it is then that she summoned a certain being through the hateful incantation she had so happen to stumble upon at an earlier time. This progress of events is indeed true in accordance to the novel “Flowers for Ayana.” But everything else from that point on, was nothing more than a futile hope on the part on an author who knew that what would come next was something that nobody would have the heart to read.

That’s something we will see going forward. The FL hasn’t even yet been introduced so the story technically hasn’t started yet

If this is the OG Assorra's version of events, how does new Assorra (Sora) effect this character and her impact on the original rising climax?

Thank you sm !!

PlasticBottru

Yeah, she was just perfect in that she brought a little bit of positivity in everyone’s life, but also i guess made that negative environment so positive that it became a hostile environment for the villainess 😿😿

Her dress is amazing! 😍

Geoffroy M.

I love her dress! Its. Really no wonder everyone grew to prefer her based on all that we know happened in the novel. Sometims you need someone optimistic in your life! That said, I'll be curious to see how she fits in now since things have changed.
