Thoughts Alongside A Wine Bottle

(Lmao y’all wine Bottru tiers are featured in this drawing 😂😂😂)

Siradiou in the aftermath of Assorra’s reaction. He’s chilling in his lounge, kinda just... spaced out. He doesn’t really feel like doing anything. Or saying anything. The very few workers he has are perplexed by this strange mood. After all, none of them had ever seen their lord so out of it. He always seems completely infallible, like nothing the world would ever do could shake him. But I guess even he, the long-lives vampire mister, could be moved.

So like, why, yk? Why is he so... sad? Let me tell you, Siradiou does not even know why himself. See, as a vampire that’s lived for a pretty long time, he’s been TOO stable in his emotions. Just existing on his own terms n shit, yk? Then he met this one interesting human that seemed to be interesting. She liked wine like he did, and even though she knew who he was (a ye old vampire) she was never exactly scared of him, just a healthy and warranted amount of wariness. Because it’s not smart to be completely open to random people. At first he has become interested in this human because when she came to his wine cellar, she was seeking strong, flavorful alcohol which is not what is societally accepted for a noble lady to drink. So he had wanted to know why. But In the process, he has gotten to know about this human. And something peculiar had happened.

It wasn’t something he had really noticed, but when he would talk with this human, he himself felt human. She never really referenced his vampirism or its perks. Never really questioned why he could walk around in the sunlight. Why he could appear seemingly out of nowhere. She didn’t ask how he got his blood, or be too nosey and ask about his very hefty past. They just talked about the now. About how the latest fashion trend would be ribbons. How some noble houses are really falling apart. Shocking to him, she would even talk about the crown prince—her fiancée—with a bit of funny pessimism. It was interesting. It made him laugh, and eventually it made him look forward to meeting this human.

But the last meeting... it simply had not gone well. To see the typical reaction that humans normally have on this person, who had made him feel momentarily human, had violently thrust him back to reality. That he WAS scary. He WAS a creature to be wary of. A creature that fed on humans to live. He was not like her or the people that she surrounded herself with. And the realization was really very jarring, even though he knows it should not have been.

So he decided that he would not do that again. He decided that he would never misinterpret reality ever again. He had been distracted just a bit in the past few months with this strange lady who would storm into his wine cellar after a particularly taxing day to drown her sorrows in wine and cheese, shittalking her fiancé and making him laugh again and again. He had to return to his duty. He had to return to being the vampire that he was. The vampire that stood between the lives of millions and a true, primordial evil that wanted to engulf everything in chaos.

Yeah the idea randomly came to me at some point yesterday, and I could see it crystal clear in my head. This is one of the very few pieces I could actually “see” in my head. Normally I just freestyle that shit 😂😂

While I'm sad he's been reminded that he can't play human forever, he looks very handsome here. Like I appreciate how it feels like we are catching a glimpse of him when he is unaware.
