Huggy big cat pages (plus roughs) from EMPOWERED vol.12!
Added 2020-02-18 14:01:00 +0000 UTCFollowing up from the cliffhanger ending of the last bunch of Empowered vol.12 pages I posted here a few weeks back, enjoy a wholesome few pages of Spooky and her smilodon friend—plus a potentially momentous implication for Emp with that final panel on the third page! (Plus the work-stage roughs for each page.)
Also, enjoy the big cat's whiskers, which were inked on a separate overlay then inverted to white in Photoshop, a technique I've only now started using but really wish I'd thought of deploying before. (For the record, this "white-line overlay" concept has been possible long before Photoshop, as I think an issue of my second Dirty Pair miniseries features a text-based iteration of the technique.)

On a serious note, beautiful job with the saber-tooth tiger. Not just the anatomy but also the expressiveness in its face.
