DISTRESSED DAMSELS: "When Shortie Attacks," pt.2, plus bonus $20-tier illo!

To repeat from last week: Time for some slightly less-than-ideal scans from "Yuri vs. Shortie," another incomplete commissioned damsel-in-distress story from the early 2000s. (I'm calling it "When Shortie Attacks" to avoid a direct Dirty Pair reference in the post title.)

Not only does this one boast very finished pencil artwork, it's also the closest thing to an in-(my)-continuity "real" DP story as you'll ever see outta these damsel-in-distress commissions, as it deals with problematic aspects of the morphing "smartsuits" worn by Kei and Yuri in Dirty Pair: Run from the Future.

Anyhoo, one more chunk o' pages next week will finish off this interesting but inconclusive story fragment—and I'll likely tell you who "Shortie" was supposed to be. (Well, maybe.)

Note: As this "Shortie" excerpt featured distress but no actual bondage (yet), I tacked on a DiD sketch set based on a pair of March art requests from the $20 tier. One illo features Emp and "pseudo-Moraine" (theoretically from Wheel of Time) victimized by the spelldrones that have appeared in previous DiD sketch sets, while another recasts the first meeting betwen Emp and Ninjette (from Empowered vol.1) with a domme-ish version of the former. Yay!

UPDATE (1:20pm EST): Note that the "Shortie flips to her feet" riff from this story...
