Following up from last Friday's surprisingly(?) popular gallery of con sketches from back in the day, here's another clump o' illos from the ol' "CON SKETCH" folder on my PC's hard drive.
A few words:

A decent enough sketch of Manji and Rin from Hiroaki Samura's manga Blade of the Immortal, but the shading on Rin's knives has always bugged me; they look a bit like opened tubes of lipstick to me, for some reason.

Tank Girl, "just like it says on the tin." Note, BTW, that a seated pose like this is pretty much the only way to fill up a page with artwork and still show a "full figure" shot.

I've drawn a fair number of Lobos over the years, oddly enough.

2001 was still very early on in my "minimal nasal indication" period of facial design as well as the era of "Big Pouty Lips," as this Judge Anderson piece shows. (Not to mention the wasp-waisted look of the dreaded "Mysteriously Intermittent Post-Millennial Torso Glitch," too.) Still, a rather strong piece, IMHO, despite the stylistic excesses.
Next Monday, on this here Patreon: More life drawings, as usual!
