So, context. Tldr, Sumner decided that he needed to be stronger if he wanted to continue to be friends with Assorra. He didn’t like that he couldn’t help her or keep her from feeling cornered or pressured by situations he couldn’t influence. It was something that he went back and forth with because he never really had to be strong or assertive. Not that he COULDN’T, but he’d just never had to, and knew that he really couldn’t go back to not being strong once he did. But he probably saw Assorra one day not looking 100% and was obviously very worn down, and he decided that he would take the plunge.
All he wanted to do was give to Assorra what she had given to him., which was a space to feel comfortable and seen, along with a tiny bit of happiness.
So he probably confronted Segun and was like, “you better stop being weird to Assorra or else I’ll do something >:(“ which, even if he DID say that word for word it would have defo shaken everyone who heard 😁😁

Cuz when you sit down and let your imagination run all kinds of wild you come to realize that there are a lot of "things" in which someone can do "something" to. Being offensively vague can really be terrifying. *shiver* Also luv baby boi and his new sense of ambition!
