Once Upon A Dream (yet again)

He will elevate humanity to the splendor it once proudly had. That is what he was told he would do. And like a soulless puppet he worked tirelessly for a goal he didn’t even understand. Everyone revered him as a second coming of the God of the Sun, and yet he felt like a disposable tool in a machine that churned relentlessly to a future that was already once lost. He had resigned himself to this fate of being one stitch in a chaotic sea of embroidery.
And yet a single pair of sandals would remind him that he had a beating heart, and a forgotten desire to live a rich and meaningful life.
[I bet you’re wondering what the hell is going on. TLDR I had a really interesting dream some time ago. It was interesting to me, cos this emperor guy was busy being very emperor-like but for some reason I kept talking to him a lot about anything and everything and he wasn’t at all bothered and it was really fun. It was a very warm and fluffy dream unlike the one I had today where tldr there were girls being murdered and I was on some team and I thought we were all good but then one by one people were falling out and then in the end the guy that we all trusted and cherished turned out to the the murderer or something like that]
