It had been a week since Celestria had taken time off. Her family... was deeply concerned. Her father and mother sat together, murmuring amongst each other worriedly. “What can we do?”⁣⁣

You see, ever since she came back from the palace, Celestria had decided that she would draw upon her previous life’s knowledge and discover a way to deal with the pervasive fear she was subjected to when in Lord’s presence. Yoga. Deep self-reflection. Acquiring knowledge. Revisiting the very purpose of life. In just one week, she had transformed. Haelan stood at his sister’s door, absentmindedly sucking his thumb as he held his teddy bear in one hand. He was watching his sister do really weird things, standing on one leg and grasping the other with her hand and raising her arm to the sky. When she finally let go, took a deep breath and sat back down, she turned to him. “What’s up, Hae?”⁣⁣

“Les, can I do that too?”⁣⁣

“You want to?”⁣⁣

He nodded enthusiastically.⁣⁣

“Okay, you can try with me—“⁣⁣

“Wait wait wait a minute, Celestria. We need to talk. What In the world is going on?!!!” Her father speedily walked over to the door, picking up Haelan in one fell swoop. “Oh, father. What would you like to talk about?”⁣⁣

“What’s— what’s going on, Celestria? What are you doing?”⁣⁣

“I’m getting myself prepared. Calming everything in my body and my soul. Finding peace so that I’m not shaken.”⁣⁣

“You’ll find peace through twisting yourself so immorally??” She was about to answer, when they all heard Lady Voltaire’s footsteps rapidly approaching. They sounded panicked.⁣⁣

When she arrived, she looked pale and stunned. Celestria’s first instinct was to tense up and begin worrying, but she immediately called herself. “What has happened, mother?” For a few seconds, her mother tried to find the words she wanted. “Th-there’s someone here to see you, Celestria.”⁣⁣

“Ah. Who...?”⁣⁣

Her mother shook her head, trying to think about what to say.⁣⁣

“I... I don’t know. All I know is... he’s a demon.”⁣
