Ok so how Leana and Alvar met. Lemme just simplify it to like,,, the simplest it can go. Leana washed up on the beach Alvar was being emo on, and he decided to do one good thing on that day (bc he was emo cos he had found his gf cheating the previous day) and helped Leana.

Well technically he took her to the hospital bc she was really very badly injured and on the brink of death. When she finally came to, she really could not trust Alvar’s intentions bc this was vaguely similar to how she got trapped by a certain Mad Deer. Took her a whole lot of time and finally accidentally seeing Alvar break down for her to realize “oh he really doesn’t wanna con me or anything ok”. Then they became friends and Alvar finally helped show her the basics on how to navigate the normal world (she kinda really didn’t know how to handle society bc there are things that you need as an adult that she didn’t have. She didn’t have a phone, or an email address, didn’t have ID cards or even a change of clothes bc she was abandoned to die, and prior to that, she was staying with the Mad Deer and he did not allow her to form a shred of independence)

Also Alvar hates the sight of blood. It makes him light-headed if he doesn’t prepare himself for it. He’d never let anyone know tho. Show no weakness.

Also Leana is pretty big for a Lioness too. She’s about the size of a male lion, and just as strong. It’s why she’s been able to survive for so long in the underground rings. Not to mention she’s really smart when it comes to fighting bc she really doesn’t want to DIE.
