I can imagine it al clear as day now. Sahel and Assorra don’t get along. Ofc the new Assorra doesn’t really care, and even liked him in the novel (he was one of her fav characters). What my thoughts were during this piece:

Assorra coming to the Crown Prince’s return from a war campaign. (Fun fact I forgot to tell you: Assorra was eventually engaged to the Crown Prince bc her clan is powerful and she was obv the very best choice in terms of supporting the Crown Prince when it comes time for him to become the King) Assorra (Sora) gets to see the situation first-hand in terms of her reputation and how people view her, and at some point she meets Sahel and he’s all smiley and polite in that soft-spoken way he is but he’ll say something like, “it’s such a shame the Crown Prince decided not to escort you to the ball” or something with that bright and handsome face of his. He sucks so much 😂😂😂😂 I love him sm
