I know she seems quite snobbish and rude and weird, and to a degree she kinda is (not as much as you'd think) but you can just say that as a feminine elf, she just holds very close to her heart the rules of how to be feminine. And Ysolde,,,, seems to go out do her way to break them all.
So Erina is not exactly a bad person, but yeah!

Yeah!! Basically that. And for her it's very very odd to see a princess who's supposed to have been raised to be "refined" like her behaving so... laissez faire. When they were little she really didn't like Yso tho. Like she dreaded her visits. But when they got older!!! Whew chile
