Every time I draw An in any situation my love for her grows exponentially 😂😂😂

This would make sooo much more sense for y'all if you had a little more to work with in terms of her background, I'm fully aware of this. But it's still a wip and I'm working kinks out and weighing options cos I don't know every little thing about the Genshin universe so it's hard to kinda stay within reasonable canon (cos there's not much of it to go by yet and I don't want her backstory to be invalid when Mihoyo finally decides to reveal more yk?)

Anyway the most important thing you need to know is that An was not raised by humans. She was not raise by or around any of her fellow humans so that's why she seems to not know a lot of very simple things. In this case, she didn't know the word "age" could be used to measure a very specific passage of time in terms of a human's life. She only really remebered it in the context of large swaths of time that spanned FAR longer than human lives (eg the "age of the gods") in fact, she had no idea people were recording how many years they had lived until Childe asked her 💀💀

So to answer Childe's question: she doesn't know and I don't think there's anyone alive that knows either
