DISTRESSED DAMSELS: ROSE & LILY incomplete odds & ends

Spent 45 g-d minutes setting up a "Lily vs. laundry drones" post for today before belatedly realizing that I already posted the story pages here, albeit probably a year or more ago. So, am now trying again with a bunch of recently scanned pieces that I probably haven't already posted. (Maybe.) A few words:

This partially colored piece (with tones added as a color test for future Dirty Pair color guides) is, alas, the only version I have of a mid-90s commission with Kei and—er, Rose and Lily—winding up in a wacky Gulliver's Travels scenario. (ProTip for commissions: Be wary of taking on "giantess" commissions like this, young artists, due to all the teeny figure and background work required to establish scale.)

Next up is an incomplete sketch of Rose in distress, probably set aside after I accidentally dropped the illo on the floor and stepped on it; in the original scan, before I Photoshopped it out as best I could, you can clearly see the imprint of a flip-flop on the piece:

I thought Rose's head seemed a tad too large, so I scaled it down a bit in the following jpeg:

Early Dandelion Hair Kei—er, Rose—had a lot of height to her hair, as also seen in the next incomplete piece from the mid 90s: 

(The piece had some rather sketchy dialogue from an off-panel Shasti, which I deleted.) Finally, a page from what would've been the start of another commissioned short story:

...but, I assume, the deadline for some conventional comics work was approaching, so I left this page rough half-finished, and never returned to its now forgotten narrative. (Oh, well.)
