VINTAGE CON SKETCHES: More (remarkably wordy) EMPOWERED commissions
Added 2021-05-07 13:01:02 +0000 UTCI'm continuing to comb through old Empowered folders looking for con sketches, and here are a few more recently unearthed examples, all of which are remarkably dialogue-heavy.
A few words:
That is one wonky-looking Superman, gotta say; perhaps he's currently suffering from the effects of some alternate Kryptonite variation?
Also, just occurred to me that working in some Red-Kryptonite-style shenanigans would be a fun riff to address in Empowered vol. 12, to go along with the "Emp Superdickery" wackiness I've already addressed.
Note that these 2010-11 pieces were lurking in the Empowered vol.6 folder. Ah, those halcyon days of yore, when the series was still selling decently...
Behold, the first of a whole series of Star Wars cosplay pieces.
I should note that my reference folders from this era contain many pics harvested from the website mentioned above; in fact, this sketch itself is probably photoreferenced from one such image.
