2012 was, for the most part, the last year I was still doing these drawn-at-home commissions, so enjoy a few weeks of high-quality pieces before the supply runs out, folks!
First off, one of my all-time favorites:

Ninjette, at least, was photoreferenced from a catalog shot; clearly, this was from a time when low-riding shorts were riding very, very low indeed.
Next up, another high-contrast, Sharpie-inked piece, which I also quite like:

Note that I was occasionally doing such inked pieces mainly to save my drawing hand a li'l stress, even though this approach takes a fair bit longer than a pencil-based illo. Speaking of which, back to the ol' graphite:

This illo was, of course, based on the famous Rocketeer piece by the late, great Dave Stevens:

Note that I made a wan attempt to "fix" the original pose by moving the damsel more over Thugboy's shoulder, as Betty is slung waaaaay out over Cliff's extended arm in the Dave illo; nonetheless, the results are still not quite (ahem) "realistic." TBH, might've been funnier to draw the poses with stricter accuracy, as then we'd have barely been able to see the ersatz Rocketeeer's face at all behind Emp's obscuring behind; then again, I'm still reasonably amused by the idea of Thugboy temporarily ignoring Emp's "toothsome rump" (per the Caged Demonwolf) in favor of ogling that broomhandle Mauser.
Come to think of it, I'm a bit saddened that I never got the chance to do another Emp Rocketeer piece, 'cause then I could've based it on Riddle's great Bettie-as-Rocketeer cosplay:

Wellp, who knows, I might get around to sketching such an illo someday...
MONDAY AFTER NEXT ON THIS HERE PATREON: More life drawings, as usual!
