ROSE STANDS ALONE, pt.2 (proto-EMPOWERED comic from early 2000s)

Following up from an introductory post open to all Patrons, you Bigger Spenders of the $5+ tiers can now enjoy the narrative's continuation as this commissioned story from the early 2000s shifts from Dirty Pair's Kei-- no, Rose kicking the crap outta faceless goons to our heroine winding up as, go figure, a Distressed Damsel.

To cut & paste from the previous post: Anyhoo, at some point in the early 2000s when I was long on free time and short on paying comics work, a generous friend of mine wanted some "DiD" content featuring Kei-- no, Rose. Originally I was going to crank out some pin-ups, but instead I decided to do some sketchy layout pages in what proved to be an early version of the later Empowered comic format.

While the previous installment's fight scene could well have been a legitimate episode in my version of Dirty Pair continuity (save perhaps for the higher level of cheesecakey imagery than usual), this chapter definitely would not be in "real" continuity, as about the last fate that the actual DP would ever be likely to face would be winding up in some "Big Man's harem." Ah, but for the hapless Rose & Lily possibly trapped in an interactive simulation, all kinds of dubious peril might well be threatened, though not ever experienced (SPOILER ALERT, I suppose), as I was never interested in depicting explicit content in these commissions.

Next time around (in a week or so) in this proto-Empowered-format saga, Rose turns the tables on her captors, despite a severe degree of difficulty! 

NEXT TIME ON THIS HERE PATREON: While  switching to the so-called "M/W/F+" schedule has eased my workload of  Patreon prep a bit, this has also triggered a conceptual logjam of sorts as I try to find slots for ongoing types of posts.  So, expect to see some random juggling of posts through the rest of the month, okay?
