“Mr. Nanami” and the party

I stand by this, Nanami should have been at the club. He sounds been turning up at the club 😔💔

Anyway, I think that at the hotel they’re staying at, they have a really nice rooftop lounge where events happen and today was a party. Obviously, June’s gonna be there cos duh 🙄, but she didn’t expect to see Nanami there too. She was very happy when she did tho! Anyway, it was a party, Nanami was… eh. It wasn’t anything particularly special. Lots of noise and drunk people, whatever. Junie had previously been with a group of girls (they had all become best friends after like 5 minutes of meeting each other) but they left early for one reason or the other and sadly, she had nobody to dance with.

Cue the great idea that occurs to her to begin an evidence-based debate with Nanami about why it is he should listen to her and go dance with her. You can imagine he immediately said nope, but oddly enough, when she presented her very nuanced argument of “cmon! It’s a vacation! It’s when you’re supposed to let loose and do whatever you waaaaaant!!” He did remember the things he’d been thinking about on and off for the past few days. About how this vacation was the last time he would be a “normal” guy. Once it was done, he was gonna hit the ground running as a sorcerer. The last chance to enjoy being Nanami Kentaro the Normie before he returns to Nanami Kentaro the Sorcerer. So yes, the point June put forth worked and he said fuck it let’s dance.

Yes June was just as shocked as anyone else 😭 she sure as hell wasn’t expecting that to work but hey! Now she has someone to tear up the dance floor with 🥂

The reason Nanami is a bit “???” About being called “Mr. Nanami” is because June doesn’t call him that. She calls him “Kento” (she did ask if he was fine with that cos she does know that in Japan he would be called “Nanami-san” and he said it was fine) this was the first time she’d ever done that, but he very quickly identifies that when she calls him that she plans on suggesting something out of left field probably 😭
