VINTAGE CON SKETCHES: The letter L represents!
Added 2020-12-11 14:01:01 +0000 UTCWellp, back to plowing through the remaining pieces in my old CON SKETCHES folder. With these pieces, we're hitting up the illos listed under the letter L.
A few words:
Ehh, not sure if I already posted this as part of a Bubblegum Crisis kick. Well, here it is again, possibly!
I have a vague recollection of doing other Lobo pieces, but this 2002 piece is the only one I could find (so far).
Yeahp, that's Manny and Lola from the fine German film Run Lola Run. One of a series of very neat requests from an early-2000s (small-p) Patron, gotta say!
NOTE: There's actually one more "L sketch" in the folder, but I'm trying to find a B&W version of the piece, which wound up being colored quite nicely by the artist who commissioned it. Note also that I'm tacking a note onto this post in the wan hopes of reminding myself that I haven't used the piece in question. (In all likelihood, I'll forget entirely about this.)
