DESIGN TUESDAY: Assorted DIRTY PAIR design roughs!
Added 2021-02-16 14:00:04 +0000 UTCFolks, here are a bunch of random design sketches from various latter-day Dirty Pair miniseries. A few words:
Yeahp, that's the "aquasuit" version of Kei's morphing smartsuit from issue #2 of 1999-2000's Dirty Pair: Run from the Future.
And another design from the same issue. Amusingly enough, this sketch must've been taped to my drawing table for quite a while, as it was festooned with phone numbers and addresses I scribbled on it while taking (landline!) phone messages.
I initially thought this design set was also drawn for Run from the Future, but on closer inspection I suspect it might've been done foe either an unpublished/failed DP pitch, or maaaaaybe for that new(er) 6-page story I did as a backup feature for the colorized Dirty Pair: SimHell Remastered miniseries.
Note that several of these SF clothing riffs were used in a subsequent "Young Kei & Y**i" con sketch (already posted here at some point months ago, I think):

TOMORROW ON THIS HERE PATREON: More Distressed Damsels content for the $5+ tiers, though at present I'm not sure what that content might be. Might be a bunch of rough sketches I did (semi-)recently riffing on that "Distressed Secret Identity Emp" post from two weeks ago, if I get the time to scan 'em.
