DISTRESSED DAMSELS: Brand-new and (very) VINTAGE Rose & Lily sketches!

First off in today's hastily thrown-together Distressed Damsels post is a redraw I did of a recently posted Y**i con sketch rough from the late 90s:

...which abruptly morphed into yet another Rose & Lily sketch set with commentary annotations, as a frustrated (and notably curvier) Lily throws shade at the "OG K*i & Y**i":

Note that the vaguely sketched "Grabgrass(TM)" is a concept borrowed from DeviantART's We-R-Nomad; only fair, I suppose, as he borrowed the "tapedrone" concept from me. (Not that I was doing much of anything with the idea, regardless.)

Next, we jump waaaaay back in time to somewhere in the 1991-93 timeframe for a rough sketch intended to set up a never-completed commission of the Dirty Pair: A Plague of Angels StealthBot distressing Vintage iterations of poor Kei and Yu-- nay, Rose and Lily:

Note that I did, in fact, eventually do a finished 1999 con sketch along those lines:

...but that mecha's bandanna indicates that we're seeing "M-97" from the first Dirty Pair: Biohazards miniseries, not the StealthBot from Plague. Note that Lily's over-the-shoulder pose was derived from a panel in the well-known-in-DiD-circles Spider-Woman #5 from the late 70s; not sure if I did so out of sheer laziness, or if the commissioner specifically requested that pose.

Anyhoo, a few years ago I revisited this "maidens and mecha" (or "damsels & droid"?) scenario with a once again notably curvier Rose & Lily, but wearing the sadly overlooked Yoshikazu Yasuhiko OG "chrome hot pants" DP costumes; I'll scan and post those sketch sets sometime in June, looks like.
