WORK STAGES on my UNNAMED ROBOT COMIC pages, pt.8!

Behold, following up on an earlier post of layout pages from Unnamed Robot Comic (better known as 2004's mecha-team miniseries Livewires), here are the work stages on a few more pages from issue #5 that I wound up penciling myself, as opposed to leaving the work to series penciler Rick Mays; I did so either for deadline reasons or because the pages in question were heavily technical.

So, in the image gallery above, you'll see my initial layout pages for poor Gothic Lolita's hypersonic demise, then my finished pencils, then inker Jason Martin's inks for the pages, then coloring studio Guru eFX's final colors. Yay?

NEXT TIME ON THIS HERE PATREON: As I roll with every-weekday posting to finish off the month of May, something will be going up on Monday and Tuesday; might be the pin-up illo I'm presently inking, and/or the month's Exclusive Bonus Post for the $10 and $20 tiers. (Not sure which particular days those posts will "drop.")

Also, over the weekend or early next week I'll briefly discuss my plans for the ol' Patreon in June, possibly in conjunction with another poll of some sort; I can tell you that I'm definitely gonna be doing some new stuff next month, folks!

Good catch, as I'd long ago forgotten about that particular detail!

I like the change you made in Gothic Lolita's expression on that last page between the initial layout and the finished pencils. The tiny smile goes well with the final text.
