Life drawings from photoreference: high-res scans #150

Once again, I'm doubling up with these latest (well, latest to post) sets of life drawings from random photoref. First above is an September 2017 sketch set, followed by another set from June 2017. UPDATE: Switched 'em around, as I thought the older set of climbing-based poses was a bit more interesting and deserved the lead spot in the image gallery. (On the other hand, the September set technically has a Distressed Damsels image in that the woman at lower right was clearly referenced from a b**dage photo.)

Note that we've (rather a while ago) crossed an important threshold with these posts—both sketch sets are dated from 2017, meaning that the end of my once-formidable buffer of life drawings is in sight, if still rather a ways off, as I cranked out life drawings almost daily through that year. So, folks, I might need to switch to single-set posts at some point later on in 2022. Gasp!

Below, enjoy the higher-res, raw and untweaked grayscale scans as PSD attachments.

NEXT TIME ON THIS HERE PATREON: Not really sure, due to the semi-randomized M/W/F posting schedule I'm using nowadays. Let's find out together, shall we?

Nope, haven't drawn from a live model since I was still in school. And nope, I don't carry around a sketchbook, either, though I would hasten to strongly recommend both practices to pretty much every other artist on Earth!

Just wondering, do you do many live studies? Do you carry around a sketchbook at all times?
