United In Grief Thing

I just spent hours listening to the United in Grief opening to draw this cos an Idea came upon me all of a sudden. Ok here is some rambling for you:

To make a long story short, Wynn is absolutely terrible at being vulnerable. Even when he is dealing with the kind of grief that feels like it's stolen everything that you are from you, he cannot bring himself to be vulnerable with anyone. Part of it is upbringing, the other part is necessity, but that's what it is. At this point in his life though, he WANTS to be vulnerable.

He feels as if he needs it, but it's like trying to dig your way out of a grave. You're suffocating, a weight is crushing you, you feel like you're being ripped to shreds, you feel desperate. He WANTS to be vulnerable with his friend (Viktor) and catch a break from feeling that despair but it's like banging against a wall that he can't climb or break down. In the end, everything inside will shut down in an effort to preserve the mind, and it will feel like a hole exists where the heart was.

It's like trying to open yourself up, trying to face the ordeal of knowing and being known, but everything caves in on itself because you couldn't do it on time, and now not only you, but your bff as well has lost something.

Because now, the hope that your friend had that this time, THIS TIME, they could finally be there for you the way a friend should has all but disappeared, and now they're wondering if you two are really friends at all.
