Added 2022-02-23 14:01:03 +0000 UTCWellp, here are the complete Work Stages on the cover illo for 2012's one-shot Empowered: Hellbent or Heaven Sent by excellent Guest Artist and frequent collaborator Ryan Kinnaird and myself. As with most of these one-shots' cover illos, I drew the Emp figure and the Guest Artist did everything else. Wheeeee!

Spotted some pretty interesting files in this decade-old project's folder, from a possible Designs Ahoy! post to an intriguing experiment with flat coloring (as opposed to Ryan's usual gorgeous color modeling) that I think you might find interesting. Expect to see more of said material in March, folks! As for the rest of February:

Stuff like Mechanismo's backstory is entertaining in showing off how f'ed up so many of Emp's coworkers are. And the art for this was pitch-perfect, 'sexy yet messed up'.
