DISTRESSED DAMSELS: The EMPOWERED vol. 12 pages I'm leaving out!

Today, I'm taking a break from the Distressed Damsels serialization of poor Rose & Lily's desperate struggles in favor of a somewhat unfortunate Empowered vol. 12 update. Yay?

As I draw and letter the final replacement pages, art patches & corrections for Empowered vol. 12 this week, I've had to leave out a bunch of existing pages from the original version of the volume to make room for the expanding sprawl of the revised version of the book's primary storyline (aka "Empowered and the Neverending Reboot," as it's titled in the final volume).

Alas, the "semi-Meta Emp" pages above are on the chopping block because, while they're fun & cute & all, they date back to my original, completely different (and, frankly, somewhat meandering) vision for the book, and have wound up being less than essential to the overall flow of the final iteration of the volume. (They're being replaced with rather wild & wacky sex scene pages, so fear not that you'll be missing out on prurient content, folks.)

Not sure what I'm gonna do with these pages other than featuring 'em in the Bonus section of a possible (but not certain) Empowered Deluxe Edition vol. 4. Combining 'em with the likewise left-out "Emp & Thugboy's bedroom cosplay" pages from Empowered vol. 9 would theoretically constitute enough pagecount for a one-shot, but I doubt that Dark Horse would be cool with a single issue that's 100% content along these lines (note that Patreon just popped up a flag when I attempted to use certain key words describing that content, by the way). Not sure that I'd want to release such a one-shot in the mainstream comics market, either.  

TBH, this might be technically be a repost, as I'm not sure if all of these pages have previously been posted here on previous Distressed Damsels updates of Empowered vol. 12 or not, and have neither the time nor the energy to search back through this site's ginormous archives to make sure. Howeva, if all of them were previously posted here, they would've been scattered piecemeal over the years since they were first drawn in 2019 (ouch); this will definitely be the first time that you've seen 'em compiled in one place, that's for sure.

This brings up an interesting Q: For those of you Patrons who have joined up relatively recently, do you wind up combing backward through this Patreon's spawling archive in an exhaustive fashion all the way back to the 2019 kickoff, or do you mainly just keep up with recent posts? I occasionally see "likes" popping up from earlier in the site's history, but rarely see many such indications dating all that far back.

And now, back to expansion of the Emp vol.12 " Sinbad the Sailor" tribute sequence. Harem-girl cosplay ahoy! Wheeee!
