2018 MANGA MADNESS brackets, pt.7!

Following up on an earlier post, here are the results from the final round of competition in a set of "March Manga Madness" brackets I worked up back in 2018:

Alas, due to, ah, Real World Unpleasantness that's descended on me in earnest this week, I've no time today to get into why Be Free! was the winner for me circa 2018. The short version, though, would be that it absolutely nailed all three of the parenthetical qualities listed at the top of the bracket: "READING PLEASURE, ART AND/OR STORY QUALITY, AND INFLUENCE ON MY WORK."

However, one quick note about post-2018 manga that would've made the list: The dizzyingly off-kilter and unpredictable Chainsaw Man for sure; Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku very likely; Demon Slayer possibly, and maaaaaybe Komi Can't Communicate, despite how much the repetitive page layout structure bugs me. (Come to think of it, I prefer the anime for that reason, which is very rarely something I ever say.)
