Wellp, as Harley Quinn #29 hits the shelves of your Local Comics Store (or wherever else) today whilst featuring the 8-page HQ backup story I wrote and drew for the issue, thought I'd trot out a Work Stages post with a new-to-you (I think) page from late in the narrative.
Not much to say—nor much time to say it—about these stages, other than to say that the colors were done by Alejandro Sanchez, who also colored that "Barbarienne Harley" cover illo from a while back.
No, wait, I have one thing:

For this story, I based Harley's physique on several different female gymnasts I'd been life drawing via random photos in recent years—somewhat "thicc," rather muscular, but far from truly "ripped" due to a still-reasonable body fat percentage. You'll note in other images that HQ has prominent (though not extreme) ab definition, notably unlike the much softer and curvier Emp. Arguably, I prrrobably should've gone a bit leaner with HQ's physique, but what the heck.
Oh, and the second image in the gallery above featured a few minor color corrections I asked for, which presumably appeared in the final, published version:

NEXT TIME ON THIS HERE PATREON: Ehh, closing out the month with one more Distressed Damsels post and the Exclusive Bonus dealie for the Biggest Spenders, but I'm not sure on which days those posts will go up. (I'm bumping that previously mentioned test page from The Chaste and the Chained into May, looks like.)
