VINTAGE CON SKETCHES: A mixed bag of oddities from 1999-2000!
Added 2023-06-14 13:00:10 +0000 UTCCombing through a dwindling binder of photocopied commissions from the linen-finish heyday of 1999-2002, I dug up a few pieces you prrrrrrobably haven't yet seen.
First off, a scandalously "flashy" illo derived from 1998's miniseries Gen13: Magical Drama Queen Roxy, with the titular heroine unleashing an apparently magical panchira effect:
TBH, this was likely a reference to the quite literal (and blindingly stroboscopic) "panty flash" unleashed by Lovely Angel Kei in the miniseries Dirty Pair: Run from the Future, which I would've been working on during that very summer of '99.
Also on the Magical Drama Queen Roxy tip, a DID commission of that project's Giant Robomaid Anna somehow imperiled:

As I said back then, naive artists should be wary of "giantess" requests like this, as such commissions usually require background work to indicate scale.
Finally, a random Wonder Woman commission that I don't think I've posted before:
...though I might be mistaken about that.
