Morning

He caught the sunrise with me today . We cuddled on the balcony, and I think this is already the best day I’ve had in ages. We sat in the same blanket because the morning cold was biting as usual, but he was warm. Warmer than the sun ever could be if you were to ask me. He agreed that the sunrise is beautiful. Oh, Peach. Now that you’re here, I’m afraid I couldn’t care one bit about that sunrise.

Afternoon

We took it easy today. We have to go back home in a few hours and Peach has work tomorrow, so after getting some breakfast from the little inn yesterday, we sat in town. He bought things for his parents. Souvenirs. We should bring them here one of these days. Oh, or better yet, we should book a trip for them to enjoy their time together. I think they’d like a little break. We found a shop with candied fruit, and Peach said they were too sweet. Even though he took a few bites of my candied apple. He’s so cute. We went back to the hotel and took it easy until it was time to head to the airport for our flight. Peach said he really enjoyed the trip. He looked a little sad to leave, but he needn't worry. We can try to go out and have fun every weekend, maybe dinner once or twice a week. We can try.

He received a message from his coworker before we got on the plane. It looks like they had a little breakthrough in their research. Why, that's great! Peach’s eyes sparkled when he saw it. I’m so happy for him, the life in his eyes. He’s got a lot to look forward to tomorrow, right?

Evening

He asked me to drop him off at the lab. Seems the breakthrough was far more important than I thought, with how eager he was to get right back to work. If only I had a fraction of the passion he has for his work. The trip was truly marvelous. What a wonderful weekend it was. Spending so much quality time with Viktor really was needed. The drive back felt lonely, so I put my playlist on shuffle. I Feel It Coming came on. I didn’t even know it was on there. I supposed it would do.
