1998 high-contrast pin-up illo of "ICE" from David Mack's KABUKI!
Added 2022-10-17 13:00:14 +0000 UTCBehold, a recently unearthed pin-up illo I penciled and inked for David Mack's fine comic series Kabuki, using my beloved, high-contrast "harsh B&W" to depict the character "Ice" in a graphic approach I would later revisit for the Gothic Lolita image from the striking cover illo for Livewires #5. Yay?
In a further connection along these lines, Livewires' artist Rick Mays was the artist for the earlier David-Mack-written miniseries Kabuki: Scarab. Golly! (Also recently unearthed some convention photos of me, Rick and Livewires inker Jason Martin from, I presume, San Diego Comic-Con in 2004, which I might put up here as a postscript of sorts for the project.)
