LIFE DRAWINGS FROM PHOTOREFERENCE #197: From 2019, more sets drawn in Clip Studio Paint!

From my 2019 era of early experimentation in iPad art apps, here's a pair of digital sketch sets drawn in Clip Studio Paint for iOS.

Early on, I did prefer CSP's Rough Pencil brush for emulating graphite in Life Drawing; my first tests of the Design Pencil brush did not go well, it seems. (Of course, nowadays the latter is by far my favorite.)

In time, the Rough Pencil's inherent, stipple-like pattern began to grate on me, as it reminded me of the coquille board I once used (with little success) back in the Kubert School.

I've had a few interesting developments in the "CSP on PC" department, including a recent attempt to import the iOS Design Pencil brush into PC CSP, where the default version of the same brush is quite different. Not sure if I'll be able to get to a post addressing that topic before the end of the month, though.

NEXT TIME ON THIS HERE PATREON: No idea, TBH, but something should be coming up in the next M/W/F slot. Let's find out together, shall we?

UPDATE: Ehh, probably either a Failed Project Friday post or a preview of the roughs for a recent writing-only job. (The M/W/F posting grind is getting a tad rough nowadays, gotta admit.)
