DISTRESSED DAMSELS: S'more EMPOWERED sketch sets ahoy!

Last week, whilst grinding through the seemingly endless script for issue #1 of Unidentified Fantasy Offering (which I'm still working on this week!), took a break every few hours to whittle away at some Empowered "straight-damsel-cheesecake" sketch sets based on a few long-standing requests.

One such request involved yet another DiD scene from the late-70s run of Marvel's Spider-Woman getting an Empowered revisit. At some point I might do an Emp version of the issue's striking if somewhat misleading cover illo:

...or maybe not.

Anyhoo, the story mentioned above had a scene with the death-seeking fella getting into an explosive bike crash, leading to Jessica getting bedamseled again:

...which is the set-up for this damsel-centric sketch set, though I didn't care to draw the undying fella:

Sadly enough, that Emp pose at lower left began to seem weirdly familiar to me, until I wised up and remembered I'd drawn the same g-d pose (from the same piece of photoref) not long ago for a $20 art req still in progress:

 Even more annoying was the fact that that earlier sketch worked much better; ughh.

Ah, but that wasn't the only pose I struggled with on that sketch set. Here are some earlier pose roughs:

While I wound up using the pose at upper right, the pose at upper left was (unsuccessfully) based on another Body-chan photo:

 Two of the poses were based on photoref, sorta, with the one at lower right being derived from the indirect (probable) photoref used for an old Gor novel cover:

Pretty sure I once did a Dirty Pair commission based on that cover (one of several such pieces, in fact), but danged if I can find that piece.

Anyhoo, gotta say that I'm still rusty as hell at drawing Empowered content, given that I drew my final vol. 12 pages well over two years ago; I'll keep whittling away at these sets in my nonexistent spare time, for whatever that's worth. And now, back to endless Unidentified Fantasy Offering scripting!
