I hope you’re having a lovely week so far! For me, time is going too fast! This week has been too busy! But in a nice way - it’s nice to have a full diary, a lot of it watch related. August used to be the time when everyone was on holidays and Europe seemed to stop moving. But I really feel that changing over these last few years. Idk! Is it the same where you are?! Is it lazy days and taking it easy? Or is it busier than you remember it being?!
Anyways! NO ONE CARES. LETS TALK WATCHES. KING SEIKO! This was my first time ever being hands on with a King Seiko! And I gotta say: it helped me “get it” and like, begin to understand the positioning of King Seiko. I really really like this. I think it’s… specific. 🤣 a lot of people will be like “wtf. Why is this so chunky and weird??” 🤣 and I really get it. But I’d say it’s a really faithful continuation of one of my favourite niche, vintage watches. Japanese watchmaking is something I’ve been exploring more lately. They’ve carved out such a unique place in the industry and - a lot of the time - do it better than the Swiss.
Anyways! Patrons! I’ve been feeling a bit sorry for myself lol! I got Invisalines a few days ago - and my mouth is killing! 🤣 it’s been getting a bit better! But feeling very grumpy and sore! So I’ve not done any new filming this week and I’ll be back on it next week!
Any topics you think we should explore more here?! Any gaps in the catalogue?! I really want to make something that feels fresh! I’ve been feeling a bit stale!

I looked at a King Seiko just two weeks ago. And now it’s next up on my list. Going to start putting the money under the mattress in November. I have to finish paying for a vintage Rolex Air King first. So, back to the Seiko, it’s the SPB461 model and oh boy is it gorgeous! A smidge less than $2000 over here in the USA. Oh, have you seen the new Astron titanium? My husband put it on and wowza! He bought a different Seiko that day but this one is up next for him.

I was wearing this the other night (King Seiko is super generous and said "Don't worry about getting marks on it - wear it - actually wear it so you can properly review it". So refreshing!) and my husband said it almost looked like a piece of jewellery on me - the way it was reflecting, and having so much case. I think this belongs on your wrist! You have the perfect wrist size to pull it off!

I like this and can easily pull it off on my 7-1/2” wrist. Would look great with my Avirex leather bomber jacket! 😎 Plus I like Seiko. Have for 45 years. Thanks Britt!
