A Personal Message From The Newfie!

We nearly made it everybody! In a few hours, 2020 will finally be over! Woot! I would like to give a big THANK YOU to all the awesome Patron's that have helped to support me throughout the year and into 2021. Last January, I had just over 1000 subscribers on my music channel and just started up my fresh new Patreon account with no supporters. Over the last 12 months, my music channel has grown by about 26,000 subscribers and I started a movie channel that has gained more than 5000 subscribers. During that year many Patrons have come and gone, however, some of you have been here for a long time, and I truly appreciate it. I'm currently sitting at just over 70 Patrons which is awesome! Each and every one of you is kind and friggin' sweet humans.

Let me tell you why your support is so important to me personally. My job was in the Aviation industry, and around April 2020 when Covid hit Canada, everyone stopped flying on planes. All major airlines started laying off employees in the tens of thousands. I was one of these people. I was fortunate enough to receive a wage subsidy from our government which gave me a percentage of my former wage during these covid times. So the reduced wage mixed with Patron support was able to keep me going. Rather than spend the last several months playing video games, I focused on my YouTube content. Then my computer died, and it was so old that I could not just replace the dead parts. Instead, I had to get a new computer, and because of the money that I put away from Patreon, I was able to get a new computer and get back to making videos. Then not long ago I was informed that the job that I used to have has been replaced with new computer software, so I won't have a job to return to when the flight loads return to normal. Not good. The Government funding I've been receiving to get by will expire in March. I don't want to have to go back to working 40 hours a week at a job and only putting a couple of videos out a week at best. Also, finding baby sitters during Covid is not easy or fun. That is why I'm going to push as hard as I can to make this YouTube thing work, make a career out of it, and be able to stay home with my kids.

I say all this because I receive little to no income from the music reactions due to copyright material. I do receive ad revenue from the movie reactions, but the channel is still small and growing. It's the Patreon support that keeps me going. I'm still quite a ways off from having enough to cover all my expenses but it's climbing and getting there. So it means the world to me that you are able to support my work.

So enough sappy stuff... where do we go from here? Provided I'm not forced to go back to a regular day job I plan to push both channels with everything I have. I want at least 1 music video a day, however, I aim for two music videos on most days. I want one movie reaction per week and I'll mix in some TV shows when I can. This schedule will take about 60 hours a week to maintain, but I'll do my best. All the while, I hope to give back to the Patrons as much as I can. If you have suggestions on ways to improve the benefits please let me know.

That's it! I've gone on long enough. Much love to all of you! I hope you all have an amazing 2021! Remember... Peace & Love everybody!

Bummer. Well, maybe it will be one that you react to, like HP

Hey Lesa, no it does not work that way. Just because you buy it does not mean you can post a video reaction for it.

Wrong button AGAIN. You can buy it for $10.99 HD/$8.99 SD USD. If you rent it you may have copyright problems. If you buy it, wouldn't it be yours to do what you want ie: no copyright issues? I would be more than happy to sponsor it. Let me know.
