Despite being European and raised on pop music, Thomas Haynes had a secret -- he loved country music. There was nothing hotter to him than listening to a deep-voiced Southern man sing about drinking beer, riding tractors, and seducing women.
After a drunken night out at a gay bar on New Years causes him to do an impromptu karaoke performance of one of these songs, the meek, bookish man finds himself unable to stop thinking about the lyrics he sang the next morning. As he lays in bed and begins to envision the life depicted in the lyrics, reality alters around him as he finds himself unintentionally transforming to become the stereotypical straight, red-blooded American redneck!
Author's Note: First off, I just want to boldly state that I don't condone or support any type of Conservative values. This was a different type of story for me and it was largely inspired by my frustration with the inauguration. I couldn't understand why people would support such regressive and idiotic policies, so I figured the best case scenario for me to sort of come to terms with it was writing a story about someone becoming that dense and self-serving. Of course, this wasn't Thomas' initial goal, but I had to add an element of eroticism to this story due to the type of writing I do, and I find nothing hotter than a wish gone wrong scenario...
