Slash was on the Barbie version as well. It was meant to sound more “perfect” since it was sung in an artificial world where everything is perfect. The live was more fun, the movie version exactly what the movie needed.

2024-04-18 22:13:16 +0000 UTCLove that the three main male characters (alpha Ken’s Ryan Gosling, Simu Liu) & Alan (Michael Cera) are all Canadian. Ryan got his start on Mickey Mouse Club with Justin Timberlake & Britney Spears. He’s always been able to sing. Simu Liu (Shang Chi in Marvel) is also a good singer, dancer & martial artist. Love that he did the Oscars version as well and he’s done a great job hosting the Juno’s twice.
