James' dad was dying of cancer at the filming of this. This video was the first time his dad heard the song. James' sister wrote a poem which he made into this song. Since the filming of the video, James' dad had a transplant and I believe is still living. That is indeed James' real dad. โ๏ธโค๏ธ๐
