65,000 people at that show. Jin was very nervous performing without the group but he and Chris Martin have developed a friendship since Coldplay & BTS collaborated on My Universe. Jin speaks very little English and switches between English & Korean in the song. Chris learned some Korean for the recording. It’s nice to see how well they seem to communicate & bond even with the language barrier. This performance was epic for BTS and Coldplay fans alike.

2024-05-30 00:01:12 +0000 UTCJin is one of the four singers in BTS, not one of the rappers. He has the biggest range vocally and is known for perfect pitch. He is singing in both English & Korean, as is Chris Martin who did backup on the recording & live. Chris wrote the song with Jin. They’ve had a good relationship since Coldplay & BTS collaborated on My Universe. Their voices are so similar in tone & timbre it’s often difficult to tell when both are singing. Suggest you always use subtitles with any BTS members as they switch in and out of Korean.
