I feel like creative teams that understand some simple truths about design almost never have this problem,but maybe these truths aren't simple because they're only employed by the epic level world builders of franchises like Rings,Star Wars and Harry Potter. 1. Its best to wrangle multiple outfits for your main cast. That way,your rogue can wear a sexy dress for the seduction scene but switch to leather armor later on. People change clothes in real life. Your characters probably should too. 2. The only coverage that really detracts from sex appeal is the face. You can cover Emma Stone's legs with leather,denim or a paper bag. She has Charisma 45 on a max 20 scale,so its not going to make a dent. 3.Color is both sexy and demonstrative of other character traits. Give your designers a pallet with more then two shades. It expands your options across the board,and allows you to replicate some ideas while still changing the visual with a paint job. I had no money and fooled everyone into thinking we had super deep designs by dressing the characters in different colors. True genius am I,songs will be sung.
