ARGH CANON WHY WHY DO YOU DO THIS. Also livestream next week.

Hello, Patrons.

Rest assured that soon, within the next week, I REALLY HOPE, I will have my camera back.

Also, Canon have decided to only charge me for the postage and not the repair. This is nice.

The reason? IT HAS TAKEN NINE PHONE CALLS FOUR EMAILS AND AT LEAST THREE ACTUAL PAPER LETTERS (from them) TO GET THIS THING DONE.

Because after I explained, again, that my camera was really pretty vital to me working, and could they please fix it ASAP, they assured me it would be with me by the end of the week. Since they'd already had it for two full weeks at that point, I said fine.

That was Monday.

So I waited.

Yesterday I got a LETTER IN THE POST AND I'M SHOUTING AND I'M SORRY BUT YOU'LL UNDERSTAND WHY IN A MINUTE telling me that my camera was fixed, and could I please call the service centre, pay my bill (of £6 for postage, since it's taken, what, four weeks at this point?) and my camera will be posted out.

THE SERVICE CENTRE IS ONLY OPEN ON WEEKDAYS. Instead of emailing me or phoning me on, say, THURSDAY when the camera was fixed and having me pay right then and there, they sent A LETTER IN THE POST.

THE POST.

WHY.

I have a Strongly Worded Letter ready to go when I actually get my camera back. I mean yes, I didn't have to pay £140 to have the thing fixed even though it wasn't covered under warranty, but I have missed TWO VIDEO DEADLINES because these clowns can't GET IT DONE, ARGHHHH.

Anyway. I'm sorry about that. I appreciate your patience. I have got some good ones coming up. I hope.

Normal service will resume as quickly as I am able. You'll know because I'll put up a video which is just me leaping in the air in a joyful fashion.

Moving on. 

I'm planning a livestream for Patrons only next Friday or Saturday. It will be around 7pm BST. Does anyone have any particular preference on the day?
