Having grown up with cats and had multiple at any given time, I have witnessed that 'new cat on the block/ older cat getting all upset' scenario often. What I always thought was funny is that the kitten for the most part never really seemed to be affected by the older cat's hissing and posturing, which I'm sure only served to upset the older cat even more. Cat's are awesome!

As would I. My boys have lived together for ten years now and they still prefer to pretend the other cat doesn't exist.

Older kid wanted a food name. I wanted a quarantine name (I've been baking). My dept. chair suggested a Shakespeare name. So....SCONE...a three-fer. And I sent photos on Twitter. :-)

Well, he doesn't automatically hiss every time he sees him, so I think that's probably similar. Nemo is still very bitey. Sherlock disapproves of being attacked every time they're in the same room. XD

Our kitten is younger (not quite 6 weeks), but they are VERY similar grey tabbies! Ours is called Scone.
