Portal 2: Want You Gone

I can see why you would feel your voice is unsuited (judging by some of your videos you seem to enjoy showtunes... perhaps I'm wrong), however I kind of disagree. This gives me a thought, what if you sang to an orchestrated version of 'Want You Gone' in the style of say 'A time for us - theme from Romeo and Juliet' by Andy Williams (your voice would sound great on that song btw). An orchestrated 'Want You Gone' would be interesting, the beauty of your vocals with lovely music juxtaposed to the darkness of the lyrics (like the beauty of Caroline and the sadness of becoming Glados). Just a thought. As far as playing slowly with one hand, Django Reinhardt only used two fingers on guitar, and David Gilmour is not a very fast player at all by his own admission yet both are masters of their craft. So, keep playing! Art is in the heart..oh I really did not mean such an aweful rhyme.

I can play the piano slowly with one hand... And I also love this song (unsurprisingly), even though it is wildly unsuited to my voice type. :D

This was instantly one of my all time favorite songs the minute I heard it after finishing Portal 2 (which had become one of my all time favorite games the minute I started playing it). Sadly, I think it became everyone around me's least favorite song quickly (as I would binge listen- oh well). Your voice is quite nice. I enjoyed the acapella version you made. The facial expressions were quite funny and a little menacing at times ("oh did you think I meant you?"). One wonders, do you write music or play any instruments?
